Actually, right now, I'd kind of like just to take a few personal belongings and set up a shack on the beach. Get a lawn chair and just stare at the waves...
Or go sight-seeing...
Or catch a game...
But NOT be eaten by sharks or alligators (tribute to this being SHARK WEEK!!! on TLC).
Or visit Sue...
And go shopping...
Maybe kiss in Branson?
Or go white water rafting...
(Even though our white water rafting trip ending with our raft overturning on a Class Four rapid...)
I'd really like to go back to Hawaii, but this time, I'd like it if me and Superman could go together.
I'd take New Orleans in a heartbeat.
But my heart still longs for this:
My vacation begins at 12:30 tomorrow and lasts until 7:30 a.m. Monday morning. Where am I going, you ask?
Well, it's a STAY-cation.
With this pup...

And, most importantly, this man.
Sigh. How many more hours until staycation?

Well you've done it now. Pushed my obsession with going to the beach over the edge.
so i was all caught up in the day dreaming about a vacation with you, until you mentioned shark week and now i can't get the picture embeded in my mind of the guy who was filming for discovery and got bit...did ya see it? horrifying. so back to vacation...headed to galveston tomorrow and now matter how dirty, crummy the beach/water is, i'm going to enjoy a day to get away. hope your staycation is refreshing!

You know what - vacations are lovely but they can also be stressful. A stay-cation sounds delightfully calm and peaceful! Enjoy it!!!
Beach refreshing, shark week boring, Sue scary, shopping awesome... spending time with our men, now that's a vacation!
