Have a holly jolly Christmas

Have I mentioned how much I LOVE being out of school? It's like an early Christmas gift.

I am slightly concerned about my grades, as one of the classes drove me crazy. I sent the professor an e-mail telling her how much I had enjoyed her class and learning the material, blah blah, and how much I was looking foward to having her in the spring (Yep, that's right. I'm taking ANOTHER ridiculously hard class in the spring. YEA.). In other words, I was trying to say "Don't fail me" (Which, in grad school, is a C.). Her response? "I really enjoyed having you in my class as well." Yeah, I bet she did. I'm sure I rounded out her bell curve juuuuusssstttt right.

I plan on putting up some pictures of my semi-decorated house just for funsies. It's a very non-traditional Christmas at the Super house this year. We have two 3-ft Christmas trees, side by side in front of the fireplace. My stockings have yet to be hung (they're still on the couch). My nativity scene lost a couple of members, one to apparent beheading (and I wrapped the glass pieces so well!!) and absentmindeness (I think one of them ran away, probably in hopes not to be beheaded), so now I have only one wise man. It's about time for a second one to be purchased in an after-Christmas sale, I suppose.

We're doing the 12 Days of Christmas gifts at my workplace. We each drew a name, and we have to get said person a $1 gift for 12 days. I'd rather have one $12 gift, but, hey, if people want to get creative, who am I to judge? I have all of my gifts for my secret person (minus one) purchased and wrapped...including a $1 bill, a coke, and a whoopie cushion...

Speaking of which, it's about time to put that wrapped can of coke under the Christmas tree...

I'm sure you did fine in that class - we all know you're brilliant! The 12 days of Christmas sounds fun!

Like Mari, I'm sure you did great in that class!
I agree, a 12 dollar gift would be much easier, but that Coke sounds pretty tasty right about now!
Oh, and our stockings are thrown across the chair right now. ;-)

I should probably send a few of those emails to my professors... I have my finals next week and things could get ugly... ugh.
Hooray for being done!! Congrats, and enjoy your break!

i beheaded a wise man last year. can yours not just be super glued back on? (don't tell me there is a shortage of super glue in the super household).

this year i pulled it out and couldn't find Jesus. I forgot I wrapped him up and gave him to Jay for Christmas last year. So we decided that He'd stay under the tree and wouldn't be placed in the scene until Christmas Eve

I superglued a lot of my nativity scene together. On the giving end, I'd rather buy one $12 gift and be done with it, but getting a little present for twelve straight days would be pretty cool too.

I agree with Mari and Rach, you are wicked clever and could only have done brilliantly! ;)
12 days of Christmas sounds fun! You're wrapping up a coke, that makes me laugh: We did secert Santa's at work (before I was a SAHM) and one of the guys got "the boss" and NOBODY wanted to get "the boss" because frankly he was "the boss" and nobody knew him well enough...anyhoo, I, being the the copy and phone girl, saw Boss come in everyday and began to notice his foundness for Banana milk. No, seriously Banana Milk. Quick makes it along with there Chocolate and Strawberry. So I told him just get him some banana milk. He did and from then on my boss thought I had a crush on him. (EWE! NO!) But I got so much ribbing from the office for that and it wasn;t even ME, but since it was SECRET santa I couldn't tell. The next year I refused to do it and Boss bought me something anyway...(NO, I don;t remember what either. Maybe a box of choclates)

we had a beheaded shepherd this year...thank goodness it wasn't joseph or mary, then i'd feel worse! your gift exchange sounds like a lot of fun. can't wait to hear what you receive!

At first, I thought the 12 gifts would be fun, but thinking of it... yikes, that's a bit much. We have a small staff, so the only thing we do for Christmas is an ornament exchange. They don't even want to bring a dish on Christmas eve any more :(
