It's a Merry Christmas time

Oh, homemade gingerbread biscotti and snickerdoodle coffee...yum, yum, yum...

Today is a tour of the Super Cottage!!! But, wait, there's more! For our Houston friends, if you're interested, check out The Satellite Room tomorrow night. Superman and Grant Terry are playing there! YEA!! I'm so proud of my hubby -- and Grant, too, of course!

Now, for the tour of our house.

Welcome to the Super home!

Our stockings are not hung by the chimney with care...

Our three-foot LIVE (for the first year) tree. I've used an artificial white tree in previous years...and neglected to put lights on this year's tree. Sigh.

But that's okay, because I have TWO trees!!

More Christmas cards rest on the mantle, with our nativity scene...which is missing two wise men...

I'm a candle fiend...

Several of you have these two cute snowmen. This was a gift one year.

On to the kitchen!

I do not use sugar or cream (unless it's eggnog creamer) in my coffee, so they rest empty. As does the cookie jar. Much to my chagrin.

I won Santa at a bingo game when I worked at the paper. And, if you noticed from the stockings, I procrastinate. That's why I have no chalk at my house and why Santa's board is blank. Put in whatever you wish.

You may notice our Christmas photo wall on the fridge. These pictures will stay up throughout the year, and, at next Christmas, we'll put the pictures in albums to store.

Our Christmas table.

And out the side door you go!!! Merry Christmas and thanks for visiting the Super house!

My mom has the Santa chalk board! And somehow every year, naughty stuff gets written on there...not by me of course. *polishes halo*

I love your two little trees. And how cute, I love that you have the same snowmen as me (I remember you commenting that you did when I shared the photo of them). Did you read the post I wrote about how significant they are to me?

Let me know how you like it once you get a chance to read lovely bones. It's definitely a different perspective on heaven - it does not line up with what I believe - but it's a story and it was good I think.

Love your tour - your decor is great! We do the same thing with the pics on our fridge - keep them up all year and then store them in albums. It's fun to look back and see how everybody changes from year to year...

Happy New Years!
